My Goddddddddddddddddddd!!
Before I even realize,it's been one year since my last journal update. Well, since the death of scanner two years ago, I can't post up my drawings. X(
Sad. May my scanner rests in peace.
But...
it doesn't mean that I stopped drawing. I still draw (obviously) but I can't put up my drawings so often anymore. And it's not even nice using camera. Well, maklumlah, it's not like my photography skills are good.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter since it's not like I have many fans out there. I mean, if my friends wanna see my drawings, I can just bring them to school.
If they ask me, obviously.(which I doubt they would)
My drawings haven't really improved much. Maybe because I didn't get much practice. Which is really bad. My exams are around the corner.
But it shouldn't be an excuse for me to stop practising.
So, I am going to practice more. XD
And oh, I didn't get into TOA finals. I am pretty sad. Seriously.
But I guess my life doesn't depend entirely on this competition. I mean, if you think about it, can you actually trust competitions? How professional are the judges anyway? No, I am not saying that the judges in TOA are not professional(in case you wanna know, they are VERY professional). I am talking about drawing competitions in general. Just because a certain judge doesn't like a certain drawing, does that mean that the drawing is ugly or not up to standard? Just because a certain drawing is pretty, it must be artistic? Why can't an ugly drawing be artistic? Just because someone draws a drawing with human anatomies which are not proportional at all, does that means that her drawing is not artistic?
What is the definition of artistic, exactly? Why do people go around saying that a certain drawing is artistic just because it looks perfect and pretty? And then they go like, "this is artistic?" when they see an ugly drawing. Why can't ugly drawing be artistic anyway?
